Occasional Lightheaded, Sick Feeling, Sore Chest, Cloudy Vision. Had Heart Surgery Last Year. Advice?

My 19 year old son had open heart surgery in August 2012 to repair a pfo. He is experiencing occasional light headedness, sometimes falls over shortly after getting up, very tired and sick feelings sometimes when walking through the store, and his chest feels very sore at times to the point that it hurts to breathe. He does get occasional cloudy vision as well. Any advise?

Hi

Thanks for asking.

I think he needs to be investigated for the cardiac functions , a thorough physical examination along with some blood tests and the scanning of the heart ( Echocardiography) is required.

Thanks.
