Ok my husband had knee surgry ten years ago he's always in pain it's always swollen and it makes horrid crackling sounds anytime he bends or stretches and on top of that he's got weird blueish slinky looking veins popping up behind his knee on the opposite leg of the surgry would you say this is something to be worried about? He is deathly afraid of needles the doctor who did his surgry only offerd him cortisone shots and he refused ! Hasn't been back since. I hate seeing him in pain all day n night long I don't know what to do please give me your medical opinion on how to help. Oh and also we work at a factory where his job he either stands for 8 hrs straight or drives a forklift all day where he is sitting constantly I know this could be inflaming it also because he told me he needs to exercise it to keep it strong but there is no way around work and bills so I'm at my wits end worried he's going to hurt it to the point he won't even be able to stand so please any advice at all will help thanks so much !!
