Gluconorm(Metformin) is an insulin sensitizer and helps in the peripheral utilization of glucose but with not stimulate insulin secretion from pancreas. So you may take sulfonylureas like Glimepiride with metformin. Check your blood sugar for good response following the regimens. If blood sugar increases then consult your doctor for more advice.
