On Imodium After Having Gastroenteritis, Stomach Cramps, Tiredness, Nasty Smell On A Toilet Visit.

I have had gastroenteritis since 3.30 pm Xmas eve, the vomiting stopped just after 12 ish Xmas day but other symptoms include aching, cramp in my feet, stomach cramps, no energy, feeling very cold. I have also noticed that there is now a nasty smell when I go to the toilet and still am having some diarrhoea. We did contact NHL direct last night and was advised to take Imodium.

Hi...you first need a course of antibiotics... without that imodium can be dangerous...as all harmful bacterias will get trapped inside...add a ppi and drink plenty of fluids...
