Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
On Monday, 2/22, I went for a colonoscopy. When I went in my voice was just fine and I had no cold or flu symptoms of any kind. When I came to my voice was very hoarse and sounds like I have laryngitis. The anesthesiologist told me that I began coughing during the procedure and he had to put a tube in my throat or back of my throat to suck fluid out of my mouth. He said that my voice would be okay. It still isn't right. I still sound like I have laryngitis and it's been almost a week. Any ideas what's going on?
