On Nexieum For GERD. Have Sinusitis. On Saline Nasal Spray And Augmentin. Have Gas, Loose Stools And Anxiety Attacks.
Hi,
I am on 2 x 40mg Nexieum a day for GERD. I also have chronic sinusitis and I am on saline nasal spray and also coming to the end of 1g twice a day of Augmentin. I have a lot of gas and pass very very loose stools. I have had these symptoms for 3 months now and they get worse not better. I even feel when I am out that I am having Mini Panic / Anxiety attacks (shakes felling lightheaded and faint) ....... I live in Dubai and we are leaving after 5 1/2 years to the UK next week

the treatment you are taking are just the best for the medical conditions you talked about. however, the antibiotic could be responsible for some GIT upset like the one you described, especially if taken for long periods. this is already affecting your psychy, thats why you panic when you go out.
your mangement begins with controlling your mind, then probably seeing a doctor for proper examination and testing (stool culture, H. pylori, FBC).
