Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
On Sept. 15 I had a procedure performed. The name of the procedure: Bilateral open L5-S1 laminectomies and medical facetectomies for decompression with bilateral instrumented fusion from L5-S1 with posterolateral morselized autograft and allograft; use of intraoperative Stealth navigation; use of intraoperative nueromonitoring. The main problem I am having is since the the 1st postoperative day, my entire skin on my body is in constant pain. It is even painful for me to shower. The water hitting my head, shoulders, arms, legs even hurts not mention basic moving around. Pain medication doesnt even seem to be very effective. What could this be?
