On Thyroid Medication Armour And Thyronine. Feeling Tired, Hair Loss And Low Sex Drive. Bloating And Heartburn. Solution?

47 years old. already on thyroid med. armour 60mg. doesnt work well for me. also i have been taking 30mg of thyronine. still feel tired, brainf fog, hairloss low sex drive. also i am taking bio dentical progesterone and some estrogen. i can NOT loose weight. I eat all organic. i have spent so much money and no one can figure it out. white bumps on back of tongue. heartburn, and bloating. keep gaining weight and barley eat. any ideas

From your history of thyroid problems and the symptoms you have reported, i am afraid that your thyroid problem is being under treated. This is because you still continue to have signs of hypothyroidism like loosing hair, feeling tired, low sex drive, gaining weight etc. Thyroid treatment should be monitored through your symptoms and routine checks of TSH to make sure you are receiving appropriate doses. In your case, I think you should consider talking to your doctor for a probable increase in the dose of your medications. This will take care of most of these symptoms and keep you feeling better.
