i was holding my urine because i was beathing my son and while holding it i experienced a severe pain so i went fast to evacuate but even after going i still had tge severe pain in my abdominal area i waited to see and it started subsiding after like 20 mib. but 1 and 1/2 later i got the same pain again i than took a 800 mg motrin for the pain now im ok i just went to the bathroim qgain and i have a little pain but nothing like 3 hours earlier please advise?
Hi, the pain may or may not have relation to the holding the urination. most probably the cause may be due to the infection, probably urinary tract infection, or a stone in the lower end of the uriter, while retaining urine it may have pushed the stone and since then there could be the pain. I advise you to consult a urologist for diagnosis and treatment, you may need to have MRI for confirmation. . Thank you.
