On Antibiotic. Heavy Chest, Sore Throat And Fever. X-ray And CT Scan Normal, Nitrates In Urine And Protein. Suggest?
I have been sick since sept 5th. I have been on antibiotics for 10 days. My Lympth/ab came back high. I had a ct scan on my lungs and it came back clear. I had a chest xray and good. My symptoms started out as heavy chest feeling sore throat and low grade fever. They found nitrates in my urine and protein. Help me figure this out. I still have a swollen throat and it's painful at times.

Since you are having sore throat, heaviness in chest , cough . low grade fever from last 5th September .
Chest X ray and M RI normal .
May be due to ,
1 Kidney disease as nitrates present in the urine along protein i.e. glomerulus infiltration is not normal , diagnosis can be confirmed by ultrasound of both kidney .Also get in blood for serum creatinine level , blood urea.
2 Tuberculosis of larynx , this is the most hidden cause of this type of fever, diagnosis can be confirmed by an E N T expert.
3 Typhoid fever also cause such type of symptoms so please get in Widal test.
