Hi, I'm Brandi. I'm sexually active, and have been taking birth control for a year and a half. I only missed one pill this month, and I took it only 7 hours later than I normally do. I just started my placebo pills today and am expecting my period Thursday-Friday, but Ive been spotting since last Thursday... Am I pregnant?
Hi, Thanks for the query. As you took the pill within 7 hours after missing and as taken all previous pills as per the schedule the chance of pregnancy is less. OC pills can cause inter-menstrual spotting as side effects. So possibly your spotting could be due to the side effect of the pill. And you may get your period as usual. If you miss the periods go for pregnancy test once. For more details you can ask me through: http://www.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-sree-gouri-sr/63429 Take care.
