Hi,

Based on the information it seems like you want to know if taking higher dose of cymbalta will help in calming and get rid of shakiness in hand.

Please do not change the dosage prescribed on your own, as its medicine what works with brain and its not one to be played with.

Here is why you should not increase the dose on your own.
side effects from cymbalta are as follows, and increasing dose brings more closer to having sides effects as mentioned below.

1)High fever, confusion, stiff muscles, muscle twitching, or racing heart rate, which may be signs of serotonin syndrome, a potentially life-threatening condition.
2)Seizures or convulsions.
3) Headache, weakness or feeling unsteady, confusion, problems concentrating, or memory problems, which may be signs of low sodium levels in the blood.
4) abnormal mood (mania), which may include greatly increased energy, severe trouble sleeping, racing thoughts, talking more or faster than usual, and reckless behavior.

So please do not increase you dose, and the answer to the question is YES it may help to calm your hands but the risk of above mentioned thing will increases by 4 folds.

Hope it helps.
Thanks for the query.
