good afternoon my sister has succes on this diet pill called phentermine and has lost alot of weight she let me try a few pills and i liked it but i had a drug screen from work and iam worried that they may show up in as ammphepiems which i did not know was in there and my question is will it show up in the test that quickly?

Yes, phentermine can cause a positive result in drug testing for amphetamines. Phentermine may be detected in the urine for up to two to four days, depending on how quickly the body metabolizes the drug. The rate varies among individuals and can be influenced by several factors including a person's age, height, weight and amount of body fat. How much of the drug you take as well as how frequently you take it also determine how long it can remain in your system. In most cases, phentermine cannot be detected in urine after 48 to 72 hours, but sometimes it may still be detected for up to four days.

Generally, the liver and kidneys clear most medications out of the body fairly quickly. However, in some people, trace levels of a drug may remain in the system for a long time.
