On For Travel, Prescribed Debridat For Enteropathy. Still Bloating Occurs, Noisy Stomach. Other Equivalent Drug For This ?

I am from Romania but I am currently leaving in the US. When I left home, my primary care physician prescribed Debridat to me (trimebutine maleate 100 mg) for my enteropathy (I had 2 or 3 stools a day and could not eat fresh fruits and vegetables because this would have caused me diarrhea). I began to eat vegetables but still after each meal, bloating occurs and my stomach is noisy (like the food is boiling in my stomach) so my physician advised me to continue to take trimebutine maleate. Unfortunately, I didn't take all the box with me and now I've run out of Debridat.
Would you be so kind to tell me the name of an equivalent drug here in the US?

Hi and thanks for the query,
I would suggest you get a discussion with your physician first before changing the drug. This drug might take some time before actually getting the benefits observed. it might necessary at times to increase the dosage to the maximum dosage in order to obtain its maximum benefits. I would suggest you talk with your doctor either to increase the dose or associate another drug. It is necessary to drink much water, vegetable and fruits. exercise also helps.
