On Generic Form Of Gildess Fe. Early Periods Last Month Followed By Delayed Period This Month. Can New Pack Be Started?
My daughter is on a generic form of Gildess Fe, and has been for 3 months.
The first month her period came when expected..
The second month it came a week early...
THIS month she is on day 4 of what "should" be her cycle, and nothing.
Does she start her new pack as planned, or should she wait for a cycle??
Please advise.

Hello Thanks for your query. ON the pill, it is common sometimes to have scanty bleeding or to occasionally miss a period. Hence, what she is experiencing could be a side effect of the pill itself. If she is sexually active, please ask her to take a pregnancy test. If the test is negative, do not worry. Continue taking the pill packs as scheduled, without waiting for her cycle. Take the rest of the pills on schedule too, irrespective of the periods. Take care.
