On Pravastatin & Synthroid For A Long Time, Took Hydrocodone 3 Times For Knee Pain. Cyclobenzaprine Be Effective As Hydrocodone?
I'm Robbie. I''ve been taking pravastatin & synthroid for a long time. I've recently been given a Rx for hydrocodone & a Rx for cyclobenzaprine. I don't need to take both & have taken the hydrocodone 3 times in the last week for knee & back pain. The cyclo... says it's for spasms (?) I hurt most at night. Will the cyclo... be as effective as the hydrocodone? I know I'm not taking it very often but don't wan to run the risk of getting too dependent on the hydrocodone. Any thoughts?

Hi, both the drugs are good, and have different modes of action, It will have individual variation of the effective ness of the drug as well.
It is good decission that not to use hydrocodone for longer duration, due to its dependance. Use the other drug, and if you are not happy with it go for the hydrocodone. Thank you.
