On the 4th of December I had a nasty fall onto a concrete step lip and had a really bad cut that required 11 stiches. The knee was bruised swollen and very painful. It took three weeks before all stiches could be removed. I still am unable to kneel on this knee and am experiencing a squelching sensation on walking and am unable to fully bend or extend leg without experiencing pain. This is most noticeable at night in bed. I did not have the knee X rayed at the time but went to see my gp yesterday who sent me for one. I was not given any results and told to contact gp for these. I am left hobbling around and wanted a professional opinion on what could be wrong. The knee is not miss shapend but extremely tender to the side of knee to touch and I can't kneel on it. I am 52 yrs old and this was a forceful injury. Any advise would be welcomed. My daughter has lent me a knee support which is giving some comfort
