Our cat has been sick & is still sick & won't eat or drink. The vets don't know what's wrong. He just turned six years old two weeks ago. He had dental surgery which we suggested as he has bad teeth. He's healing from the dental surgery & is on special urgent care wet food & we are giving him fluids through an IV. He had an appetite stimulant three days ago & it worked well for a couple of days but now he's not eating again. He will be given another appetite stimulant tomorrow & that's it. Then it's back to maybe a feeding tube or what the vet decides. He acts like he wants to eat & drink & circles his food & water but just can't. He has had all the tests which come out perfect. He sleeps a lot but is up wanting to be active too. He wants to play but we don't want him to use his energy playing, etc. What can I do to help him eat & drink. We think this could be stress from moving one room into another and redoing the one room. We also suggested doing the dental surgery as we thought that could be it. He's acting better since the surgery but still not eating or drinking but he wants to. We love our cat & need some help figuring him out with the eating & drinking. Thank you for any help you can give us. He is a Siamese & we adore him & he adores us. He rams us & gives us love bites. He purrs a lot & there isn't too much wrong except the eating & drinking.
