Oval Shaped Spot On Hand. Why Is The Color Getting Darker?
I have a brown oval shaped spot on the back of my hand ...its about an inch and a half long and half an inch wide, it started out red about two weeks ago and has changed to a darker red/brown, its splotchy not completely colored every where. It doesnt itch and has now developed dry skin in that area. Its completely flat and not raised anywhere

You do not worry about the color change. It is is the normal sequel of any spot to change its color to brownish tinge because of the activity of melanocytes(the color producing cells). This is known as Post inflammatory hyper pigmentation. It will be alright in next few weeks.
