Over Weight, BMI Is 24.2. What Is Happening To The Body?

Hi, I am a 5' 1/2-1" girl, 17 years old, with an athletic build and muscle. I am really concerned I am overweight. I have never weighed what my scale is telling me I weigh, however the scale could be broken but still. The scale says I weigh 127.5-128. I weigh too much, don't I? When I sit down I have a stomach but when I stand up everything minus a small part of my stomach is pretty firm. I just calculated my BMI and it was 24.2, which I am pretty sure is borderline overweight, if not overweight. Can you help me please, help me understand what is happening with my body.

DEAR MADAM

BODY MASS INDEX CLASSIFICATION CLASSIFY INTO FOLLOWING CATAGORIES
1. UNDER WEIGHT - 2. NORMAL WEIGHT - 18 - 24
3. OVER WEIGHT - 24 - 29
4. MILD OBESITY - 30 - 33
5. MODERATE OBESITY - 34 - 36
6. SEVERE OBESITY - > 36

ACCORDING TO THIS CLASSIFICATION YOU WILL FALL IN BORDERLINE BETWEEN NORMAL AND OVERWEIGHT. YOU MIGHT BE HAVING INCREASED FAT DEPOSITION IN THE ABDOMEN WITH LOOS SKIN WHICH IS MAKING YOU TO FEEL LIKE THAT.

DONT WORRY NOTHING WRONG IS HAPPENING IN YOUR BODY AS PER NOW, WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW IS
1. AVOID JUNK FOOD
2. DO SOME SIMPLE ABDOMINAL EXERCISES
3. WALK FOR ATLEAST ONE HOUR PER DAY.

THANKS
