Oversleeping, Feeling Of Lousiness When Getting Up Early. History Of Having Insomnia. Help

I am 28 years old. since my childhood I have sleeping problem. I was not getting sleep very early. I used to get sleep around 12 to one. sometimes I was not getting sleep whole night. this happens now also. from five years I started oversleep. when I don't have office I sleep for 12 to 15 hours. if I keep alarm also I cant wake up. after waking up I feel like why I am wasting time sleeping. I feel like I love to sleep. I am 5.2ft. and my body weight is 62. if I wake up early I feel lousy whole day. will you please help on this/

Based on your history your need to train your self to go to bed at certain time and wake up at particular time daily for some time.
You do not need medications for now however its good to have you assessed for other causes of sleep disturbance like depression, asthma, use of caffeine and stress full occupation etc by doctor. Hope I answered your question, will be happy to help you if you have other queries.

Hi there, thanks for asking. 6 percent of kids have problems in sleeping early. They may find later depression in their life since sleep is necessary for brain refreshment. You can ask about delayed phase sleep disorder and depression secondary to it from your doctor to see if this is the problem. Best
