Overweight, Chest Pain, Fullness In Throat, Hiccups, Disturbed Sleep. Is This Associated With Eating?
Hi, I am a 33yr old female, and am overweight . Recently I have been experiencing a sensation of something being lodged in my throat , accompanied by chest pain (across the shoulder blades) & hiccoughs. It s there pretty much constantly & is now disturbing my sleep as I wake up feeling sharp pains in my throat & chest. It doesn t seem to be associated with eating etc, but am also experiencing slight pain when eating - please help!
All your symptoms point out to a reflux disease although it can be confirmed only after a complete examination. Seek an appointment with your doctor and in the meanwhile do the following:
1. Avoid spicy, oily food 2. Do not immediately lie down after food 3. Try to reduce weight and maintain the same 4. Do not skip a meal and take meals at regular time adding more green leafy vegetables and non citrus fruits and reducing carbs
take care and get fit soon
