PA View Shows Round Opacity In Right Lower Lobe. What Is This Disease ?
Hi Dr. Had undergo 2 chest x ray as part of my employment requirements.
1st) PA view. There is a round opacity noted in the right lower lobe. Suggest spot film for verification. Heart is not enlarge. Diaphragm and visualized osseous structures are intact.
Impression: suspicious opacity in the right lower lobe. Suggest spot film and comparison with previous fulm for verification.
2nd xray) sp0t film: In correlation with the chest PA study dated august 6,2013. Spot film still faintly shows the round opacity in thw right lower lobe probably a nipple shadow or kochs etiology..
Im a male, 29.. Doctor will be available after 3 days, im too paranoid that this is somehow a disease. Last year, my xray is normal. Thanks
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Not necessary that every opacity is due to any disease. It depends upon the clinical history and blood examination and sign & symptoms of disease (if any). May be artefact or calcified lymph node or old lesion. Good luck. Dr. HET
