PCOS, Want To Try Marijuana For Relieving Pain. Is It Advisable?
Hello. Recently I have been looking into the benefits of marijuana for pcos . I have very bad pain down there and it seems to never go away. Do you happen to know if this could be a qualifying condition in arizona for severe pain? I know that marijuana will not get rid of my problems, however, it does help a lot with the pain.
Medical marijuana is the "wave of the future." It's a great treatment modality when it's used properly under the careful guidance and prescription of a competent physician. PCOS is a chronic, incurable condition, as you are aware, and it is associated with pain and discomfort that are chronic and often unremitting. That said, you need to advocate yourself to a good pain physician in your state (assuming it's a state where medical marijuana is allowed) to help you with this treatment if you feel it is helpful. Marijuana can also be combined with traditional painkillers, narcotic and non-narcotic, to help you as well. All this should be done under the umbrella of a good pain doctor who is compassionate and can help you without judgment. Best of luck. Do feel better. I hope this answer helped guide you to getting appropriate help for your condition.
