PFO In Teenagers, Pounding Heartbeat, Dizziness, Chest Discomfort, Weakness In Arms. 3D Echo Test Done, Shows PFO. Treatment?
PFO or ASD in adolescent cause exercise intolerance with pounding heartbeat , dizziness, squeezing chest discomfort, headache, weakness in both arms and extreme fatigue? Had 3D echo last Oct showing possible PFO but did not have TEE at that time as not recommended by peds cardiology. Symptoms now more pronounced after running and doing hurdles in track. Client is 13 y/o.

only PFO is not required any treatment . the above symptoms can be cause by other condition also like vitamin deficiency , anaemia , thyroid related problem
