Pain And Discomfort In Stomach After Having Intercourse. Due To Constipation?

hi doc i have been experiencing pain and discomfort in my stomach, it started shortly after my boyfriend and i had sex, i often feel the need to go take a crap but as soon as i get there just a small portion come out, i thought it might be constipation but i have abdominal pains which last for 10min then go away. i am concerned it might be something serious please help.

This is known as Dyspearunia or post coital pain. Constipation can aggravate the problem but you need to do an Ultrasound Pelvis to rule out any other cause. Meanwhile you can start Lactulose 20 ml at night regularly to avoid constipation, drink plenty of water and eat fruits and vegetables. Also if there is any vaginal discharge it needs treatment.
