Pain And Redness In Scalp. Oozing Clear Fluid. Swollen Occipital Nodes. Normal?

I had my hair dyed with bleach last Wednesday and had a reaction after it was left on too long. My scalp was painful and red with oozing of clear fluid. The next day I noticed both occipital nodes are swollen; not really tender. My scalp has since begun to heal and has flaked. The nodes are still enlarged (pea to marble sized). Is this normal? How long will it take for them to return to their normal size?

This is allergic lymphadenitis you need not worry at this point of time, if your scalp lesion is getting healed. Your lynph node enlargement should be subsiding within two weeks
