Pain In Breasts, Swollen Lump, Puffiness Around The Nipple. Causes And Treatment?
A few days ago I woke up and my the outside of my right breast was hurting and one of the lumps was swollen, and when I woke up this morning I noticed my left breast was hurting on the outside and a few hours ago I noticed around the nipple of my right breast is a little puffy, do you know what the cause of this could be?
Since you havent mentioned your gender, Im assuming that you are a male, because this is quite an embarrassing problem for males. One of the commonest causes for puffy nipples is gynaecomastia( enlargement of the breasts). During puberty, there is a hormonal imbalance and hence the adolescents are asked to wait for some more time. But if you are an adult, then you may have to get it checked by a doctor. He will assess you and then suggest the corrective measures needed ( if any).
Gynecomastia in an adult suggests a serious hormonal imbalance and hence will have to be assessed by a doctor at the earliest.
Take care!
