Pain In Chest, Forearm, Wrists, Right Leg, Lower Back, Headache, Toothache. Cure For Symptoms?

Hi, for the last three months I have been experiencing varying types of pain. Pain in my chest (worse when I press on ribs), pain in my forearms, wrists and fingers, right leg, lower & upper back. I've also been getting pain in both sides of my neck that feel like my caroti artery is going to explode with pressure. The worst symptom is painful headaches that originate behind my left eye and temple and last for hours, they feel like somewhat like sinus headaches as they surround my eye, but the pain also travels behind my ear to the back of my head. I've been sent for a bone scan, abdominal CT, chest/back X-ray, thyroid ultrasound & and blood tests. They all came back completely clear(apart from the bone scan revealing I might have a pretty bad toothache coming on, which was right as I've now been experiencing pain in my jaw making my headaches worse). My inflammatory markers are up an have continued to rise even on anti inflammatories. I've seen a rhematoid specialist but he couldn't seem to come up with anything. The pain does not feel muscular, the only way I can describe it is pain in my veins or maybe nerves. It's causing me a lot of stress & anxiety. Please help

HI,
Thanks for your query.
I strongly feel that you have got some sort of connective tissue disorder or some neurological problem.
If you are elderly lady it may be a sign of a vasculitis called giant cell arteritis where you can feel a chord like structure in your temple.
I strongly advise you to go for ESR, temporal artery biopsy, ANA, RA, and of course MRI brain and spine to rule out both vasculitis feature and neurological disorder.
Alternatively you may try prednisolone high dose and see its effect.

Best wishes
