Pain In Groin Area, Frequent Urination At Night, Feeling Bladder To Be Full. Normal USG. Reason?

Hi, I am a 50 year old male. For the past one week, I have pain in the groin area. Passing of urine frequent in the night with a lot of irritation in the urinary tract. The bladder seems to be full but the quantity of urine passed is very less. More over, it takes some effort to pass the urine.
I underwent a medical check in June this year. My HbA1c was less than 6. (5.9). The USG did not show any stone.
What could be the reason for these? Should I consult a GP or a specialist?

Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.
I can understand your concern.
You should contact a specialist. This could be because of urinary tract infection or obstruction to the flow of urine. A urine culture and sensitivity will help in diagnosis along with routine urine examination.
Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
