Pain In Hips And Thighs, Uncomfortable, Bad Cramps, Prolonged Periods. What Could Be The Cause?

I am having constant pain in my hips and thighs. It s very uncomfortable. I am also on the 4th day of my period. I am 31 and have bad cramps and heavy, prolonged periods most months. I have never had this issue before, though. I have two children and just a few weeks ago went to my gynecologist and she said everything looks normal. What could be the cause of this?
