Pain In Jaw, Chin, Bruising, Painful Throat, Difficulty To Swallow After A Car Accident. Is This The Cause For Concern?

in a car accident 12 hours ago. I hit the side of my face on the seat in front and immediatey felt pain in jaw and chin. bruising and marks took a while but came out after a few hours. a few hours later and my throat is now painful to touch and hurts to swallow. more sensitive down the one side I hit my face. should I be concerned?

Thanks for posting on HCM,

I believe you require further medical evaluation given that the pain you are experiencing is internal (within the throat). This could indirectly interpret as throat trauma and with such accidents we can hardly be too sure of what might be going deep inside unless we run some test. I suggest you see an ENT for this, so extensive medical evaluation can be done (this is especially for your own security in case an internal injury that is progressive exist).
