Pain In Joints, Sore. Had Antibiotics For Respiratory Infection. Family History Of Arthritis. Suggestions?

Most of the joints in my body have been very achy and sore. I get some relief from Advil, but this frequency is catching me off guard. Arthritis runs on the maternal side of my family, so I am aware that this may be an issue. I was recently on 2 rounds of antibiotics for an upper respiratory / ear infection. Could that be escalating my symptoms?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The soreness in the joints could be related to a post infection arthritis or arthritic changes in the joints due to a strong family history. You can take mild pain killers and do a hot fomentation for 2-3 weeks and see if it subsides.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
