Pain In Left Chest. Had Kidney Stones, Ruptured Bakers Vein 10 Years Ago. Anything To Worry?

I had over whelming pain in my left chest, deep inside, I have had kidney stones, this was very bad pain, ok now, after 20 plus bags of heparin and some antibiotics, 5 day stay in hospital, at 69, before that treatment I could only tie my shoes, now 5-6 hours of labor, even in the heat, I had a ruptured Bakers vain 10 years ago left leg. Is there anything I should watch out for?

Hi and thanks for the query,

Important aspects of your medical history like hypertension, ischemic heart disease and diabetes are important to be considered, A clinical review coupled with a chest x ray, electrocardiogramme and cardiac ultrasound could really be very useful. Kidney function tests and an abdominal ultrasound to ascertain the sizes of the kidney stones if any, kidney size , shape and structure could be very useful.
