Pain In Left Shoulder And Lower Chest. Completed Drugs After Diagnosed For TB With Left Pleural Effusion. Why ?
I am diagnosed as a pt of tuberculosis with left sided pleural effusion. I am taking anit-tubercular drugs for 5wks. still i feel pain in may left shoulder and left lower chest and there is also evening rise of temperature thai is 99f. i m little bit worried. plse give me advice...thanks

the treatment for Pulmonary TB is about 6-8 months.
5weeks is small period to expect results
Any way you have to be very sure about compliance.
Also you should know that the organism is not resistant to any of the drugs.
Give good food and paracetamol for symptomatic relief of fever and pain.
