Pain In Left Thumb And Wrist, Swelling, Weight Gain, Nausea, Low BP. What Does This Suggest?

am I in trouble? I have pain in my left thumb n pointer finger and my wrist as well. I have swelling in my hands and feet, my hands especially. I have noticed a 12lb weight gain in a few days. No pain but I have had nausea but no vomiting. The nurses took my bp and said it was a little high but then switched arms and retook it and used the lower pressure.

Hello,
Welcome at HCM.

I have read complete details of your question.

It looks from your details that you are having swelling at your feet slight increase in blood pressure.Such symptoms may apper with some problems like -

-High blood presure

-CHF

-Electrolyte imbalance

-Thyroid disorders

& others.

I will advice you take it seriously ,you should consult to your doctor .You should have complete investigations to rule out any thyroid disorder as well as status of your kidney.

At present you should limit salt intake & do mild exercises on advice of your doctor.

Hope this all will help you.

With best wishes.
