Pain In Leg After Increased Physical Activity. Prescribed Medicines For Vitamin D3 Deficiency. Started Having Irregular Periods. Solution?

Hi,
I am a 42 yr old woman.
Whenever I have increased physical activity,I have pain in my right leg,starting from the knee.
After doing ALL the tests the doctor has found extreme Vitamin D3 deficiency and inappropriate levels of TSH,so has prescribed D V 60k,Trinerve and Ebexid.
What side effects can I have.I am starting to have irregular periods after starting the medication.Kindly,advice.

Hi,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic,

After going through all the details you have provided, you have been diagnosed Hypothyroidism,Vitamin D3 deficiency.

At your age 42 there may be calcium deficiency as you are deficient in vitamin D3 which is necessary for absorption and deposition of calcium in bones.

In fact if you are hypothyroid then correction of thyroid level makes menstrual cycles regular.

There are no major side effects of these drugs as they are vitamin and Thyroid supplementation.

You should take them as directed by your Physician.Please take your medicines regularly.
