Pain In Lungs, Burning Sensation While Speaking. Started After Cleaning. Quick Remedy?
Hello Doctor! My mother is having some pain in her "lungs" or in and around that area and is feeling a burning of some sort when she attempts to speak or laugh, etc. It just happened about 12 hours or less ago when she was cleaning out a filthy property she owned. I am really worried, can I please get some help and fast? Thanks. -Averi D.
Hi and thanks for the query, She might need to be taken to the emergency room. It is very important to exclude a serious cardiovascular event or myocardial infarction. A clinical review, chest X ray, physical examination and cardiac ultrasound including cardiac ultrasound are very vital at this stage. Early detection and appropriate management improves outcome. Taking her to the emergency department for evaluation and management is my advice. Thanks and kind regards. Bain LE, MD

Hi, SInce pain is burning type this may be due to reflux esophagitis. But just to rule out any cardiac problem get done one ECG.
Now can give her Tab Pantoprazole 40mg and syp mucaine gel and show to yourboard certified doctor for further management.
Hope this helps you. Regards
