Hi,

Welcome to Health Care Magic.

Based on the information provided by you you might be suffering from Cervical Spondylosis.
There are Medical and surgical methods of treatment for treating this condition.
Usually medical therapy is used and surgery is limited only to very severe cases.

Coming to Medical therapy- calcium supplemntation, Anti inflammatory drugs, Vitamin B12 containing Preparations ( Tablets or Injections)will help you. Using a cervical collar prevents xcessice cervical spine mobility. If pain does not relieve with this you might have to use preparations containing gabapentin or amitryptiline.

Along with this you have to take few precautions . Do not use a pillow under your headinstad place the pillow on the sides of the neck so that the spine does not move much. Avoid activities that involves excessive movement at neck.

Physio therapy will also help you

Based on the MRI reports see your doctor and discuss regarding the possible treatment options as mentioned above and take a final call.

Hope you get well soon.

Take care
