iwas having a little bit milk in my right breast so baby was nit taking milk from this breast n he is doing one side feeding from my left bbreast n he is comfortable with this but now i m gattingpain in my right breast n feeling a little bit lums in this breast is this harm ful for me now my baby is 3 year old now from 2 days i m not giving him feededing
Hi, Thanks for the query. Accumulated milk in the breast can form lumps. And if that lumps get infected they can form abscess. So better to get examined once. If there are no features of mastitis or abscess formation, the small lumps may regress by their own. You should not let out milk, as this will increase the milk production further. Wearing tight inner wear is needed. If there are features of mastitis or abscess you need treatment. Consult gynecologist or general surgeon once and get examined. Mastitis can be treated with antibiotics. In case of presence of abscess, along with antibiotics, letting out of the pus is needed. Take care.
