Pain In Right Buttock After Fall With History Of Fracture In Right Acetabullum. Could This Be Re Fracture?

I am having right buttock pain with a history of a fracture in my right acetabullum 2 years ago. This pain does not radiate down my leg. I recently fell on the ice and now my pain is similar to what i had previously, expecially when I am resting in bed and finding a position, and when I get up or after sitting for a length of time. Does this sould like a "re-fracture" or can you get arthritis in that area. I am an active 56 year old, milk cows 2Xdaily and work full time at school.

Hi,
It would be impossible to make a diagnosis without examination and an x-ray or scan. It could be related to your previous fracture or arthritis. It could also be nerve pain or related to circulation.
I suggest you see your doctor for further advice.
