Pain In Right Hip That Feels Like A Bruise. Advise?
Hi. I have unexplained pain in my right hip - it feels like it is bruised. I have just started training for a 10k race, although this pain began before my training started so it can't be something which has been caused by exercise. When I am in bed and I roll on to my right side it is excrutiating, and whenever I am walking I am aware of it hurting. It is not causing me to limp, and I am able to walk and jog, but I am just concerned that I may do myself more of an injury.

Hi,
Thanks for posting your query. Pain in your left hip seems to be inflammatory in origin. It could be due to bursitis or tendonitis. Give rest to your hip. You can take antiinflammatory drug like ibuprofen to reduce pain and inflammation. Get it evaluated by your doctor if symptoms persists.
Hope this will helps you.
