Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The severe pain in the back and radiating to the legs is likely to be related to disc degeneration or a nerve root compression at the level of lumbar spine. An MRI scan will help in diagnosis.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
