Pain In Shoulder And Armpit. Why Is It Persisting?

I have pain in my right shoulder blade and armpit radiating down my right arm and have noticed that I have a dark reddish spot about 1/2 inch diameter in the armpit. The pain feels as though its pulled muscles although I have not lifted anything heavy to cause it . The other thing that I notice is that the right armpit has a peculiar smell even minutes after I have showered .....I have never suffered from body odour

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
I think your pain and skin spot are two different pathology. It can be a skin problem, so you should contact to a dermtologist. Also for neck pain you will need to get a xray as i think it can be cervical spondylitis. Till you are getting these investigation done, Do not use big pillow. Also take Myoril tablet for neck pain and pregabalin and Methylcobal for nerve pain in shoulder.
