Pain In Shoulder And Elbow After Fall. Numbness In Finger
I fell on my front steps about five days ago. A few cuts and bruises but nothing terribly severe. My left shoulder and elbow have started hurting two days later, very severe pain. Rest and ibruprofen seemed to help some of the more severe pain. Except for these things the last three days: My left pinkie and ring finger are tingling and sometimes numb. My left hand hurts to make a fist. I have loss of strength in my left hand and arm . There is also now an odd sensation, not exactly pain just odd feeling radiating from my left shoulder and shoulder blade up the left side of my face and neck.
After reading your post, it seems that the symptoms experienced by you are due to nerve compression.
You should get yourself examined by an Orthopedician and a Neurophysician.
You may need an X-Ray or MRI to confirm the location of the compression.
Pain can be relieved by taking pain killer like Ibuprofen one tablet twice a day after meals along with a muscle relaxant like chloraxazone and an antacid like Omeprazole 20 mg.
I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
