Hi , analysing your symptoms of
dizziness after a
sinus infection , I am in a opinion that it might be viral infection of the inner ear.that is viral labryinthitis.
In this condition dizziness persists for about 3 to 6 weeks after the infection.
This is not related to your TMJ, neuralgia, dental infection.
This is a sequelae or any viral infection , usually upper respiratory infection
.
For this , if a pt with these symptoms come to my clinic I would prescribe some labyrinthine sedatives like
cinnarizine for 2 weeks along with neuro active drug .
Allthese are prescription medicine so consult your doctor and take it.
Along with this I would recommend the patient some vestibular
rehabilitation exercises.
With this the dizziness will reduces, if it doesn't then I would recommend some audiological test. For this I would suggest youvto meet your
ENT specialist only.
