Pain In Testicle And Abdomen. Why Does This Happen? Permanent Solution?

Hello Doctor, Good Evening ! I am 25 years old. I sometimes feel painful in testicles and lower part of abdomen for 3 months. My left testicle is hanging lower than the right one. Please explain me why this happens and suggest me with permanent solution to this problem. Also tell me does this need any surgery or it can be cured normally?

Hello
Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have have mild Varicocele. However this can be confirmed only on clinical examination So please consult some surgeon .Get your color Doppler study for scrotum done to confirm the diagnosis. As regards your second query normally the left testis is little lower than the right and it does not have any significance. Surgical treatment is needed only in grade 4 varicocele which is decided on clinical examination and results of Doppler study. Mild cases can be left alone and monitored.
I find this answer helpful
