Pain In The Chest, Difficult To Breathe, Forced Burping To Relieve Chest Pain, Fatigue. Tried Gas Med, Pepcid, Inhalers. Suggessions?
My husband has ongoing pain in his chest and says its difficult to beathe. He is constantly forcing himself to burp to relieve the pain in his chest. The pain eventually goes away only to return. He came home from work today. He took a shower and laid down. He said he felt pain in his chest, difficulty breathing and fatigue . He ate an arby s roast beef and fries for lunch and that was all today. We have tried gas med, pepcid , inhalers nothing seems to help. What do you suggest?
As described it looks like a hyperacidity and thats why an ongoing pain in the chest and difficulty breathing. A person who has such bad acidity and using drugs for the same should not be eating fries and beef as it will cause more acid. What you can do is try tablet pantoprazole 40 mg daily for 14 days and antacid syrup 2tsf 3 times daily 1 hour before eating. Also get an ECG done to rule out any cardiac problem
