Hello Since november i have been having achey pains in the heart area and as time has passed iv been getting the pains right through to my back just in a certain area. Iv been to my doctor and she didnt seem worried but i didnt have the back pain at the time. Sometimes it feels like a heavy weight is sat on my chest and i have been having numbness in my temple (head) Which i have never had before. Could you help please?
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Pain in the chest , that too on left side in heart , is a cause of concern. As pain is also in back and on right side , so reason may be due to, Tension, anxiety , esophagitis ( hyper acidity i.e. gastritis), Of course may be due to heart. You haven't mentioned the age and sex? Male around 40 years are more prone to heart disease, while female are more prone after 60 years. Get in ECHO heart and blood test . Consult your treating doctor and get in complete tests. Good luck. Dr. HET
