Pain In The Nipples. On Birth Control Pills. Is That The Reason?
Hi, I m a 28yr old woman, I ve been on the pill since 17, in the last 3 or 4 years i ve noticed my nipples getting overly sensitive, in the last 12months to the point of pain. I have also noticed they are erect alot, sometimes for days at a time. I have recently changed pills from Estelle to Yasmin (in the last month) and this week I ve decided to stop all together. Can you tell what s causing the over-sensitivity? What can I do to make my nipples stay down?

Breast engorgement and pain in breast along with nipple are side effects of all oral contraceptive pills(OCP).Since you have stoppped all OCP this pain and over sensitivity of nipple will go of itself.There is nothing to worry.Hope this answers your question.
